The historic city of Oxford is well known for its impressive College buildings and reputation for learning. However it is also a modern thriving city with extensive recreational facilities and shopping malls. This combination of history, architecture, student life, tourist attractions and modern facilities makes Oxford an ideal location for any student to learn and experience English Culture.


College Details

Oxford Brookes University is situated just outside the city centre and is a large modern university with several campuses. The course takes place at the newly renovated Marston Road campus, which is some10 to 15 minutes walk from where the accommodation is situated at Clive Booth Hall.
Marston Road comprises classrooms, refectory, multi-media theatre and common rooms, while Clive Booth Hall is a new development of en-suite single study rooms in apartments with a shared kitchen.

What's Included in the Fee?
  • 15 hours (20 lessons of 45 minutes) per week English language tuition including 3 hours per week project work (lessons may alternate between mornings and afternoons), maximum 15 students per class
  • Full-board residential accommodation, 21 meals per week
  • Two full-day excursions per week
  • One entrance to an attraction per week
  • Full programme of daytime activities and sports
  • 7 evening activities per week

What's Not Included in the Fee?
  • Transfers to/from airport/port
  • Insurance (Twin can provide UK insurance)
  • Optional extra activities, excursions and entrances (pay as you go)
  • Bus passes for local travel
