However it is also a modern thriving city with extensive recreational facilities and shopping malls. This combination of history, architecture, student life, tourist attractions and modern facilities makes Oxford an ideal location for any student to learn and experience English Culture.
Oxford Brookes University is situated just outside the city centre and is a large modern university with several campuses. The course takes place at the newly renovated Marston Road campus, which is some10 to 15 minutes walk from where the accommodation is situated at Clive Booth Hall.
Marston Road comprises classrooms, refectory, multi-media theatre and common rooms, while Clive Booth Hall is a new development of en-suite single study rooms in apartments with a shared kitchen.
