Set in beautiful Surrey countryside, and located within 30 minutes by train of London. Guildford and its historical Castle and busy shopping centre are just 5 miles from the school, providing students with the possibility to experience the charm and peacefulness of the beautiful English countryside together with the excitement of London and the history of Guildford. Guildford itself offers first class entertainment and shopping in and around its cobbled High Street. Not only can students enjoy some of the finest shopping in the South East, but a wealth of attractions are within easy reach including Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, National Trust properties, RHS Wisley and the River Wey.

The school boasts up-to-date facilities, all on site, as well as attractive boarding accommodation. Boarding accommodation has been refurbished to provide smaller study bedrooms for 2 - 4 students, and bright new common rooms. Symes, the Junior Boarding house, pleasantly situated in the grounds of St. Catherine's, has also been completely redesigned, and now offers cheerful, up-to-date accommodation. There are limited single rooms.
